Uptown Cosmeceuticals Hot Jelly Cream

Uptown Cosmeceuticals Hot Jelly Cream is a good muscle relaxer. When my shoulder is bothering me (soreness and tightness from frozen shoulder) I massage in a small amount of hot jelly cream and feel relief fairly quickly. The pain of frozen shoulder never fully goes away without Lidacaine shots, but any improvement is welcome.

This orange jelly cream has a consistency of pudding, is easy to apply, and spreads smoothly. It causes a slight tingly sensation (cool rather than hot—to me anyway) and has a minty fragrance that isn’t altogether unpleasant. I wouldn’t apply this before going out, though. It would be similar to applying vaporizing rub on your skin before going out to dinner. People will notice. I apply mine before bed, which allows it to sink in. I let it dry before getting under the covers, so I haven’t noticed any residue or stains on the bed sheets.

I’m pleased with this gel. It relieves my muscle tension and soreness and allows me to get a peaceful night’s sleep.

Because I haven’t been using the gel for anti-cellulite management, I can’t attest to its effectiveness in this aspect, but I can confirm it alleviates my muscle tension and pain.

Pros:
·      Cruelty Free! (Not tested on animals)
·      87% Organic
·      Uptown Cosmeceuticals offers money back if you’re not satisfied

Cons:
·      Strong fragrance
·      Takes effort to wash off of my hands after application
·      Container is slightly too large to pass through airport security—a 4oz container opposed to the permitted 3oz container—and I travel often.

4 Stars
