Majestic Pure Indian Healing Clay Powder is pretty unique. The
clay powder is 100% Natural sodium
bentonite clay (volcanic ash), which has a negative charge that pulls
toxins from the skin.
I’ve
used clay masks before, but never one I mix fresh each use. Mixing is easy. I
put 1-part clay powder to 3-parts warm water (you can add more water if you
don’t like it as thick as I do) and mix in a NON-METALLIC container with my
hand. You can use a plastic spoon if you’d like, but my hands get messy
slathering it on my face anyway, so I just use my fingers.
The
reason you should use only non-metallic containers and utensils is because metal can filter into the clay (giving it a positive charge) and making detox
ineffective.
I
leave the mixture on my face for about 20-25 minutes (you may leave it on for a
shorter time if you have sensitive skin) then rinse my face with warm water,
wiping with a wet washcloth to make sure I get it all. The clay gives my face a
rosy glow, and makes the pores on my nose visibly smaller. I like that it’s all-natural rather than filled with
unhealthy substances. After all, I want to detox my skin, not add toxins.
I
don’t only use this as a facial mask. I used it on my feet for the first time,
and I’m so impressed! I’ve read it can be used on the scalp and hair, but I
haven’t tried that yet. (I have used Dead Sea Mud from my roots to hair tips
and it made my hair soft and shiny, so I assume this clay will do the
same.)
It
feels so good to pamper myself and to know I’m ridding my skin of harmful
toxins with a safe and natural ingredient. Though I
was given a discounted price to test this mask, my review is genuine and has
not been influenced.
