This Winkine Black and White Striped Canvas Backpack is
both cute and practical. It’s made of a sturdy canvas material, and makes a
nice carry-on bag when traveling by air. It isn’t bulky, and fits nicely under
the seat.
My
MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina fits nicely inside the padded inside pocket with a
wide elastic and Velcro strap to keep it in place. The laptop pocket has plenty
of room if you want to place other items in there, such as folders, etc, or if
you have your laptop in a thick sleeve.
The rest of the bag has plenty of room
for overnight essentials, a change of clothes, etc. Or, of course, if you use
this as a book bag, it is hefty enough to hold heavy textbooks, etc. The shoulder
straps are only lightly padded, so they might not alleviate too much of the
stress on your shoulders if you pack the bag full.
The
backpack is made of a very sturdy canvas, is uniform, without snags or
irregularities in stitching or color, and has adjustable shoulder straps.
There
are several compartments on the inside and out, and feels strong and long
lasting. (Two open cell-phone pockets, one zippered pocket, one padded laptop
pocket, and the main open compartment on the inside of the bag. 2 water bottle
pockets on the sides of the bag, and a magnet snapped, padded pocket on the
front of the bag.
The
zipper closure of the main compartment is the same color as the bag, and glides
smoothly, without snags or separation. The interior is a smoother material.
It’s
13.8” x 17.7” x 6.7” and keeps it’s shape, without hard wrinkles or that
‘crumbled canvas’ appearance. It has a sturdy loop at the top of the bag for
hanging on a hook.
In
my opinion, this stylish backpack screams teen, but is just as suitable for someone
with a playful style. It’s a practical way to carry belongings, with straps for
wearing over the shoulder. Though I was given a
discounted price to test this backpack, I was not influenced or required to give a positive review. I’m pleased with its
craftsmanship and stylish striped design.
