Magnus Heavy-Duty Razor

Heavy-duty is right! This is a weighty, sturdy, well-made razor, has a shiny chrome finish, and comes with two blades.

It’s easy to load the double-edged blade. Just unscrew the handle and separate the two-part head. Once it’s open, you just place the blade inside, close the head, and screw the handle back in. It’s just as easy to clean.

The handle is long, and comfortable in my hubby’s big hand. It doesn’t clog easily and does a great job of shaving. It makes his face baby-soft.

This comes wrapped in tissue with a Magnus sticker securing it, and placed in a white box (with a Magnus sticker as well) so it is easy to wrap if you’re giving as a gift. Great stocking stuffer! I was given a discounted price to test this product, I was not influenced or compensated for a positive review.

IPX7 Waterproof & Dust-proof Floating Bluetooth Shower Speaker

The IPX7 Waterproof Bluetooth Shower Speaker is such a cool device! I can safely listen to music in the tub or shower without fear of ruining my iPhone. The speaker is fully waterproof, even after being submerged in water.

Charging:
Charging is simple. Just open the little rubbery tab on the side of the device, plug in the cord (included) and plug the USB end of the cord into an AC adapter (like you charge your phone) or the USB port on your computer. It took my speaker approximately 4 hours to fully charge, and kept its charge for over 10 hours, playing often.

Waterproof testing:
Being fully waterproof, this speaker can be used in the shower and tub, as well as a swimming pool. In testing, I fully submerged it in the tub and it continued to play (though muffled for a moment while it acclimated.)
It has a rubber suction cup for mounting to a smooth surface (I mounted it to the tub wall) and after lightly wetting the cup for better suction it stayed put. I purposely dropped the speaker into the tub and the suction end of the speaker floats upright, allowing the sound (which comes from the bottom, suction cup side) to continue.

Controls:
The control buttons are on the top of the device, with volume up/down, skip, pause, and fwd/back, and they are responsive, without having to mash down hard or fight with the controls. You can control the device with your phone, or any other Bluetooth device (tablet, computer, etc.) if you want.
It also has a built in microphone for answering hands-free calls while in the tub.

Sound:
I was surprised at the sound this doughnut-sized speaker. It doesn’t give the tin-can audio that some small devices deliver.

Overall:
This device exceeded my expectations. Charging is easy, I didn’t experience any connectivity issues, and the sound is clear. I rarely use it for answering calls, but love the option. The controls are simple, and the manual is straightforward.

Though I was given a discounted price to test this waterproof Bluetooth speaker, I was not influenced or required to give a positive review. It’s portable, durable, and makes a nice, unique Christmas gift.

Philips Sonicate Generic Replacement Toothbrushes

These Philips Sonicare Generic Replacement Toothbrushes come in a 4-pack. They’re more economical than the name-brand, yet just as good and fit properly. They don’t bother my sensitive teeth.

The different colored rings along the bottom of each brush makes it easy to distinguish which one belongs to who. Though I was given a discounted price to test this set, I was not influenced or required to give a positive review.

Luseta Beauty Moisturizing Olive and Jojoba Body Oil

This Luseta Beauty Olive & Jojoba Body Oil moisturizes my skin and makes it ‘glisten’ without looking or feeling oily. A little goes a long way, so I put a few drops into my palm, rub my hands together, then smooth onto my skin. After I’ve applied it where ever it is needed, I run my fingers through my hair. It gives it an added shine.

The fragrance is pleasant and becomes milder after you apply it to your skin. (I even put a little on my lips when they’re chapped.) Though I was given a discounted price to test this body oil, I was not influenced to give a positive review. I’m pleased with the quality and effectiveness.

Luseta Volume Reviving Dry Shampoo & Conditioner

I’ve never used a dry shampoo and conditioner before, but really pleased with the results. This Luseta Volume Reviving Dry Shampoo & Conditioner comes in really handy when you’re in a pinch and don’t have time to wash your hair. My brother in law, while in the hospital, used a dry shampoo, so I kind of knew what to expect, but I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do.

The shampoo smells great (lavender) and does what it says—restore volume. It gives me that ‘fresh’ look and ‘lift’ I wanted. The conditioner sprays on. It takes away the scraggly look on the ends without weighing my hair down and makes it shiny.

This will also come in handy when I’m on long overseas flights when I need a quick refresher before touchdown. Though I was given a discounted price to test this product, I was not required to give a positive review. I am very pleased with how clean my hair looks after using this product.
