My
son had a professionally-made mouth guard because he grinds his teeth when he
sleeps. After getting braces, the mold no longer fits, so I thought this would
be a more economical option.
I
only received two of the advertised three mouth guards, and no instructions on
proper molding. Only from other reviews did I gain an idea in how to do so. My
son dipped them in near-boiling water for about 15 seconds, then cooled them in
cold water for a few seconds so it was bearable to place in his mouth. He then
pressed the molds to his teeth. Because only a slight impression was made, he
did this several times and finally got a more desirable fit.
Pros:
· BPA Free (bpa is a chemical used to harden plastics that
is linked to serious health problems)
· 30-day money back guarantee
Cons:
· No instructions were included
· Received only two molds (three were advertised)
